COMPIN Front Ends has also developed an innovative approach by offering front ends as one single module ready to attach, called “plug& play”. This approach was used successfully on the LRV Citadis of ALSTOM project and can be used on any other type of equipment. COMPIN Front Ends therefore acts as an integrator for all of the Group’s technologies of expertise, and those specified by the client, like electronic equipment for example.In addition, COMPIN Front Ends has the ability to offer this comprehensive approach regarding the design of driving cabs whilst delivering the elements in “spare parts mode” to very distant client sites. Within this framework, COMPIN Front Ends can offer assistance to the local partner in carrying out a technology transfer ensuring they have a certain level of autonomy, guaranteeing quality and flexibility for the end client.

COMPIN Front Ends draws from several years experience with the front ends of Citadis tramways, with more than 1200 front ends delivered in more than 20 different versions. Over the years, the level of integration has kept on improving, leading the company, not just to deliver a complete module, but also to finalise assembly on our client’s production lines, thus ensuring the entirety of the delivery of the “front end” project.
